Say goodbye to some of your manual daily admin tasks and hello to not one, but two new PowerApps. On the Apps we’re adding three new (but very familiar!) easy to follow processes. Not only will these changes save you time, but they will also save lots and lots of paper. And the best news? They are live now, so you can start using them straight away. Hooray! Take a detailed look below at what’s changing.
PowerApp: Staff and Visitor Log app
No more printing off those daily sign-in and out sheets. You can now sign in and out, including breaks and staff searches, in just a few clicks on the Staff and Visitor Log app. It takes seconds, just 8 of them in fact, and it’s perfect when you’re on the go. It even works for visitors. We’ve got a mobile and tablet friendly version of the App too, making it easy for Store Leaders to monitor the comings and goings of the day. All the details you need are in this briefing pack. Print out this handy one pager of the QR codes and put somewhere snappable for both the phone and tablet versions of the App.

This is now built into the Staff and Visitor Log app, making your morning checks a breeze. Simply follow the steps in this pack.
PowerApp: Mandatory Policy Declaration app
When it comes to completing the quarterly compliance Dec, do you dread checking the store files to see which polices are up to date, with no idea if they are the latest ones? Well, no more! These policies will now be stored on our tablet friendly new Mandatory Policy Declaration app. You can read, sign, and keep a track of your policies in one place. Just make sure you sign off one policy at a time. Check out the pack for more details. And for Store Leaders we have a Know How video just for you.
These new ways of working will save Retail a whopping 7000 hours a year! And countless pieces of paper.
What do you need to do?
- You can download and start using the Apps now. Make sure you update the Apps every time a new version is available, so everything runs smoothly.
- The Compliance team will be checking accuracy for all usage of the Apps, and you’ll need to have all Declarations completed on the App by all members of staff from 1 April. Going forward, you’ll need to complete the policies annually as part of the Compliance Declaration each year.
- The Staff and Visitor Log app must be used (unless there’s an outage) every day, this starts now but must be in place in every store by 1 May.
So, get everyone on board and start using the Apps straight away. And why wouldn’t you? They are awesome.
