- New H/S (-32)
The stores with the biggest year-on-year profit deterioration were:

Key Message for June
To get back towards the £300k+ region, the quickest wins are:
- Recover Upgrade H/S lost year-on-year (£8,190).
- Recover New H/S (£5,760).
- Recover PayM New (£5,250).
- Restore accessory profit closer to 2025 levels (+£10,644).
Re-establishing Accessory Profit, which appears to have fallen significantly across almost every store and is the single biggest controllable profit opportunity.
If you recovered just half of those lost volumes and half the accessory decline, you’d generate roughly £17k-£18k extra profit, taking the region from £270k to around £288k-£290k without needing exceptional trading conditions.
Regional KPI Comparison June 25/May26
| KPI | June 2025 | May 2026 | Variance |
|---|---|---|---|
| PayM New | 680 | 610 | -70 |
| New H/S | 243 | 188 | -55 |
| Upgrade H/S | 779 | 707 | -72 |
| New HBB | 307 | 252 | -55 |
| Regrade HBB | 342 | 266 | -76 |
| Insurance | 352 | 376 | +24 |
| SME | 104 | 96 | -8 |
The £300k regional target is not asking stores to achieve something unprecedented.
In fact, if every store simply returned to its June 2025 KPI volumes, the region would generate approximately:
- £9,900 more from New H/S
- £9,360 more from Upgrade H/S
- £8,250 more from New HBB
- £3,500 more from PayM New
- £1,200 more from SME
Total: £32,210 additional profit
Which would move the region from £270k to over £302k profit before considering any accessory improvement.
The June targets are not based on hope or unrealistic growth. They are based on volumes that this region delivered only 12 months ago. If we recover the lost handset, broadband and SME opportunities that we know exist within our stores, the £300k target becomes achievable without needing exceptional trading conditions.
The June targets are as follows:
| Store | June 2026 Target |
|---|---|
| Dewsbury | £28,000 |
| Halifax | £55,000 |
| Leeds Crossgates | £30,000 |
| Leeds Springs | £28,000 |
| Pontefract | £32,000 |
| Scunthorpe | £48,000 |
| Selby | £32,000 |
| Skipton | £47,000 |
| Regional Total | £300,000 |
