From now on, you’ll not only be able to offer a discount to EE customers taking BT Broadband as a new customer, but you’ll also be able to offer BT Broadband customers a discount for taking out an EE tenured voice line as a brand-new EE customer (handset or SIMO only).
We’ve also made our EE & BT Special discount available at household level. That means the BT account holder doesn’t need to be the same person as the EE account holder but must live at the same address.
The EE & BT Special discount is 10% off the EE MRC, and there’s a new process as well. It’s all designed to make things simpler and easier to sell to those customers who are already a customer but not transacting their existing brand.
Processing the EE & BT Special Discount
We’ve made it simple for you to add the 10% discount by creating new Value Add Service discount codes

- When entered you’ll be asked to add the Customers EE Mobile CTN
- This VAS is to be used when selling an acquisition BT HBB to an existing EE customer and should be added to the BT HBB Sale on EPOS
EE to BT base (Article: 950013471/ EAN: 5025744604579)
- When entered you’ll be asked to add the customers BT Account Number
- This VAS is to be used when selling an Acquisition EE Tenured Voice line to an existing BT Customer (who is brand new to EE) and should be added to the EE Voice Line Sale on EPOS
Validations
If the BT and EE account holders are different, but live at the same address both must be present for GDPR and Account Verification purposes. All sales will be validated to make sure they’re compliant, so check this pack for full T’s and C’s.
